A dear friend recently reminded me that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, not human beings having a spiritual experience. Part of being human is experiencing relationship, to others, to things, etc. At their essence all of our relationships are truly sacred. They are a powerful mirror. They teach us where and how we need to grow and change.

Significantly, the planet Pluto is now aligned with the galactic center at 26 degrees Sagittarius.
(The galactic center is the rotational center of our Milky Way galaxy.) In the symbolism of
astrology Pluto represents powerful transformation. This Fall, as Jupiter approaches the
Pluto/Galactic Center alignment a heightened sense of urgency and intensity will fill the air. It
has never been a more important time to pay close attention to those areas of our life that need
transformation. This is especially true of our relationships.

Plutonian energy does not care what is destroyed on the path to rebirth and regeneration, whether
personal, global or environmental. It is ruthless. Its only goal is the improvement of present
conditions. What is no longer necessary must be eliminated. In aligning with the galactic center
and Jupiter, Pluto’s energies take on a larger context and intensify. The stakes are raised.
We all strive for wholeness, consciously or not, individually and collectively. We all have a
little bit of one another in each of us since we are all part of the greater whole. We can only
judge others as they are reflected in ourselves. We label our judgments as good, bad, pleasant,
unpleasant, etc. So what does this all mean?

We will need to make choices, many of which will take us out of our comfort zone. Many
choices will have implications extending far beyond our personal spheres. There are sacrifices
we need to make individually on behalf of the whole. This is particularly true of our home,
planet earth, the delicate balance of the environment, and how we chose to use power in relating
to one another. While the outcome is very important, the process is even more significant. The
means become the end. The journey will be our teacher. Honesty and trust will provide safe and
fruitful passage. Let out relationships be a reflection of what it is we want to create.
Following are some insights for each of the astrological signs during the next two months. I
hope you find this interesting! In this issue I will pay a little more attention to the signs of Libra
and Scorpio. Libra begins September 23 and ends October 22. It is followed by Scorpio, which

Aries - The relationship between your body and mind comes to the forefront as Saturn enters
Virgo. Pay attention to the details. It may help to slow down the pace of your life. This way
you won’t miss anything. Allow inspiration to guide you. All things will be done in good time.
They might even be done more thoroughly!

Taurus - You are beginning a new cycle of creativity as Saturn enters your solar fifth house.
Don't expect fire works and drum rolls. This is a time when the artist in you takes you on as a
project. Life may not seem particularly amusing today. That’s OK. Your task is to discover
new forms of honest self expression!

Gemini - The foundation of your inner "home" needs some renovation, perhaps your “house” as
well. Use this time to initiate activities which will produce something of value during the
months ahead. Let go of unhealthy ideas about relationships. Joyously solicit cooperation from
others and you will get it.

Cancer - Clear and honest communication with others, especially family members, will greatly
further your cause. Increase your awareness of your mind and investigate how your attitudes are
influencing your reality. You've heard it before....attitude is everything and can be contagious.
Is yours worth catching?

Leo - This is an excellent time to begin practicing financial accountability. Don't get
discouraged, get real! If material things are getting in the way of your success they may well be
taken away. Have what you want and want what you have. Its time to get involved in activities
which benefit your community. Be the star you are!

Virgo - Until September 23rd the sun is in your sign, Virgo. Allow the sun's warmth to inspire
and energize you. Focus your attention as you begin a new cycle of personal growth and
projects. Define your goals. Then create a map to take clear and sensible steps. Remember it's
the journey that matters, not the destination.

Libra - Libra's symbol is the scale - balance. It is the time of year when once again the days and
night become equal! Though you are known as the zodiac's "peacemaker" you are not always
peaceful in demanding peace. In fact, as Mars travels through your 9th house use your voice to
stand up for what you believe in rather than for what you stand against. You begin a new solar
year when the sun enters Libra on September 23rd. Take note of what is front, instead of behind.
Loosen your grip on the past. Firmly hold on to the vision for tomorrow! Strive to make your
home a comfortable, nurturing and peaceful retreat.

Scorpio - Unlike Libra, Scorpio, you have three symbols assigned to your sign, each with good
reason. The first is the scorpion with it's deadly sting. Second is the serpent which periodically
sheds its skin. Third is the phoenix which rises from the ashes bearing witness to rebirth through
death and destruction. This solar cycle should bring increased satisfaction and compensation in
your work. Focus on community involvement as it will enhance your confidence and self worth.
It's a win-win! Take time out in October for some rigorous outdoor activity. Your body will
love you for it!

Sagittarius - As Saturn enters your 10th solar house of career and destiny, take care to pay
attention to the details as they arise. Do not put off for tomorrow what you can do today!
Meditate on your hopes and aspirations. Plant the seeds that will bear the fruit of your true
values.

Capricorn - Our beliefs determine the quality of our experience. Over the next couple of years,
as Saturn passes through your solar 9th house, you have the opportunity to review and update the
truths and lies in the stories you tell yourself. What fun...and you can start right now!
Aquarius - Faith in the universe and a good sense of humor will lead to rewards this Fall. You
have the wisdom to bring you closer to happiness and intimacy. Patience is the key to unraveling
what truly belongs to you, emotionally and physically. Practice kindness and tolerance towards
yourself.

Pisces - Home life has been hopping the last couple of months. Are you feeling restless? Try to
act, not react when dealing with others, especially family members. How? Take time to identify
your feelings! It is important you maintain a clear head because your work will soon debut.
